AusWide Weighing & Safety is one of Australia’s leading mobile weighing companies, dedicated to creating road safety through high-quality education, demonstration & training.
Our mission is to provide clients with comprehensive appointments so that they leave armed with a thorough understanding of their combination and the confidence to travel, knowing they are safe and legal.
AusWide Weighing Services was born in June 2022 after seeing a much-needed opportunity in the market while travelling Australia with our young family.
Our passion for travel has seen us own multiple motorhomes setups across the years, from a Ford Econovan and Mitsubishi Express to a 1988 Viscount Seabreeze 16ft pop-top towed by a Toyota Prado, and now a 2021 Land Cruiser 78 Series Troop Carrier and 2022 Essential Highlander 21’10 - meaning we’ve done the hard yards when it comes to researching compliance limits, upgrade options and overall combination issues.
Since starting our journey we have always come across frustration from road users, we understand just how complicated getting the correct answers (if any!) can be, and we wanted to create a business that makes the process simpler for others.
This is what pushed us to create a mobile service that takes out the hassle and confusion. We conducted extensive research, including an intensive training workshop with a reputable mobile weighing company, arming ourselves with the key industry knowledge to provide our clients with the information they need.
We have written and recorded a mobile weighing training course that aims to educate, train and ensure competency in new weighing businesses.

AusWide Weighing & Safety is the founder and an active committee member of the Mobile Weighing Association of Australia. AWS saw the need to start the association to bring the industry together and create a minimum weighing/operating standard within the industry, we have seen and heard too many consumers are getting ripped off by dodgy operators. Since its inception in February we have formed a committee of six businesses, we have thirty members as of May and that is continuing to grow every week.
